Koala Painting
Mother and Baby

Acrylic on Canvas

This painting is one of my more pronounced paintings done with what I refer to as my Texture techniques. I have a lot of influences in my art from both collage and mosaics. I love this type of art work.

I am also celebrating the vibrant colours of the Australian Bush.

Koalas are a superb animal and one to be very careful that we protect as the there numbers are very sadly diminished.

I hope you enjoy

Kerrie

PS as always my paintings are for sale. Just get in touch if you have a favourite Aussie Animal or Bird you would like me to paint.

"The Bush after a Summer Shower"
Acrylic on Canvas
(Size = 24"×24")

The Australian bush is dry in Summer where we live. We have just had aummer showers in the last 24 hours and flowers bloom whilst puddles of water evaporate. The bush smells fresh and the plants make the most of the precious water.
